Ingredients

  • Yogurt Greek, regular, or non-dairy
  • Berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mixed - fresh or frozen
  • Granola or nuts/seeds for a lower-carb option
  • Optional: Honey maple syrup, chia seeds, coconut flakes, other fruits

Instructions

  • Prepare ingredients: Wash and slice berries if using fresh. Have all your ingredients ready.
  • Layer in glass or bowl: In a clear glass, jar, or bowl, begin layering your parfait.
  • Layer 1: Yogurt (about 1/2 cup)
  • Layer 2: Berries (about 1/4 cup)
  • Layer 3: Granola (2-3 tablespoons)
  • Repeat layers: Repeat the layers of yogurt, berries, and granola until the glass or bowl is nearly full (typically 3-4 layers).
  • Add toppings (optional): Drizzle with honey or maple syrup, or add other toppings like chia seeds or coconut flakes.
  • Serve immediately or chill: Enjoy your parfait right away, or cover and refrigerate for a refreshing snack later.

Notes

  • Use any type of yogurt you prefer - Greek yogurt for a thicker consistency and higher protein, regular yogurt for a lighter option, or non-dairy yogurt for vegan or lactose-free diets.
  • Fresh or frozen berries work well. If using frozen, they may release some liquid as they thaw, so you may want to add them closer to serving time.
  • Get creative with your granola or toppings! Nuts, seeds, shredded coconut, and other fruits can be added for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Layering in a clear glass or jar makes the parfait visually appealing.
  • You can adjust the proportions of ingredients to your liking.
  • These parfaits are great for meal prepping - assemble them in jars and store in the refrigerator for a quick and healthy breakfast or snack throughout the week.
